Slow-cooked beef ragu with pappardelle pasta

Prep time: 5 mins

Cook time: 8 hours (depending on slow cooker)


600gm gravy beef

1 x tin (400gms) diced tomatoes

1 x teaspoon beef stock

1/4 cup water

1 teaspoon mixed herbs

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon minced garlic

Salt and pepper


1. Place all ingredients in a slow cooker on high for 8 hours

2. When ready to eat, boil water, add pasta and cook to al dente. Meanwhile, using 2 forks pulls meat apart - should just fall apart. Stir through.

3. Garnish with fresh Parmesan and parsley. Season with salt and pepper or to liking
